THE 'NEED TO KNOWS' FOR RETAIL CUSTOMERS
Welcome to GC Flower Market!
We’re a wholesale flower market open to florists, stylists, event planners – and yes, DIY flower lovers too. Whether you're planning a wedding, hosting a party, or just love fresh flowers, here’s how it all works.
🌼 WHAT WE DO
At GC Flower Market, we supply fresh, high-quality wholesale flowers and foliage in bunches as they come from the growers.
We don’t make bouquets - instead, we provide the blooms that florists and creatives use to work their magic.
🛍️ CAN RETAIL CUSTOMERS SHOP HERE?
Absolutely! While we are a wholesaler, we welcome retail customers who are up for a little DIY.
You’ll be buying in bunches, not single stems (with the exception of a few flower varieties that are sold by the stem) -
that means more blooms, more value, and a bit more planning.
🛒 HOW SHOPPING WITH US WORKS
Walk-In Shopping
Pop into the warehouse during opening hours to browse what’s available. You’ll find seasonal fresh flowers and foliages in bunches - perfect for those who like to choose on the spot.
-
No bookings required.
-
First in, first served.
-
Stock and availability changes daily depending on what's in season and how busy we are.
Pre-Ordering
If you're planning an event, wedding, or need something specific, you can request an order ahead of time.
💡 We recommend ordering at least 3 weeks in advance to give us the best chance of sourcing what you need.
We can hold flowers for you if you need something right away, just keep in mind that once something is set aside or ordered for you, it does need to be collected, as we’ve taken it off the floor especially for you. (We appreciate your understanding!)
🌸 FOR THE DIY-ERS
Planning your own special event? We've got you!
-
We can help with flower names, seasonal availability and general guidance on what’s in bloom.
-
We recommend visiting in person to see flower colours, bunch sizes, and to get a feel for how much you might need. Since everyone's vision is unique, we are unable to determine quantities on your behalf - it's something best judged with your own eyes.
Need more hands-on help or floral design expertise? We’re happy to recommend some wonderful professional florists in your area so you can get that full-service experience.
📝 HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
-
Have an idea of what you're after - flower varieties, colours, quantities etc.
-
Send us your wishlist via our online form or by emailing orders@gcflowermarket.com.
Use as much detail as possible, and be sure to include substitute options in case something is unavailable.
For roses, please include a stem count. For all other varieties, let us know how many bunches you need. You’re welcome to email through any reference photos as well! -
We'll confirm we've received your order and follow up with any clarifying questions if needed. Then we get to work sourcing your blooms - and we always do our best to get what you’re after.
-
You receive final confirmation via text message, the day before your collection
-
Collect your blooms from our warehouse on your chosen day! You're welcome to grab any extras while you're here.
Please note: While we always do our best to source the flowers you've requested, due to weather, seasonality, and other unforeseen circumstances, we cannot guarantee availability of specific flower varieties.
We currently offer pickup only from our warehouse.
📅 WHEN TO SHOP FOR THE FRESHEST BLOOMS
We receive fresh flower deliveries most days of the week, so there's always something beautiful to choose from.
Once all pre-orders are picked, the remaining flowers hit the floor for walk-in customers to shop from. It’s very much a first in, first served kind of deal - so we recommend coming in early if you can!
Rest assured, whether you're ordering ahead or shopping on the spot, our flowers are always fresh and great quality.
🕐 OUR OPENING HOURS
We're open Monday to Friday, from 5.30 to 10.30am.
QUESTIONS?
Don't be shy - we're here to help!
Whether you're a florist, a DIY bride, or just someone who loves flowers like we do, we'll do our best to guide you through the process.
